Atelier Living is an editorial media house devoted to home, interiors, design, and the life that surrounds them.
We publish a quarterly magazine, an editorial website, and a social channel. Across all three, we hold a single standard: considered, specific, and authoritative coverage of the homes, studios, designers, and brands that are shaping the way India lives.
We are not a listing service. We are not an aggregator. We are a publication, and we take that word seriously.
What We Cover
Our editorial world is the home in its fullest sense. The architecture that shapes it. The designers who conceive it. The materials that compose it. The objects that inhabit it. The craft traditions that inform it. The global ideas that continue to evolve it.
We cover this world with the seriousness it deserves. That means long-form features, not captions. Named materials, not vague references. Considered judgements, not catalogue copy. Photography that treats a room as worthy of the same attention a portrait photographer would bring to a face.
Who We Serve
Atelier Living serves three distinct communities, each with its own relationship to home and design.
The first is the homeowner who commissions, who travels, who specifies, who has the resources to build something significant and the taste to care about what that means. The second is the professional: the architect, the interior designer, the studio principal who shapes spaces for others and who reads, in order to think. The third is the reader who aspires: building their first serious home, developing their eye, forming the preferences that will define how they live.
All three find something in Atelier Living. The quality of what they find is the same for all of them.
India, and the World
Atelier Living is rooted in India. The light here, the materials here, the craft traditions here, the particular way that an Indian family thinks about the spaces it inhabits: these are the things that give our editorial coverage its character.
We are also global in our reading, our references, and our audience. The Indian design community is international in its training, its clientele, and its ambition. We reflect that.
The Name
An atelier is a place where things are made with care and skill: a craftsperson’s workshop, an artist’s studio. Living is what all of this serves. Together, the name says what we believe: that the design of a home is not decoration. It is the considered act of making the places where life actually happens.
Volume One
Atelier Living launches its first magazine issue in July 2026. The founding edition features home tours, designer profiles, brand showcases, and one long-form editorial essay. It sets the standard we intend to hold.
Editorial Independence
Atelier Living maintains a strict separation between editorial and commercial decisions. Brand partnerships and advertising do not influence what we cover or how we cover it. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled. These are non-negotiable commitments, and they are the reason the publication is worth reading.
